How spiffin old boy! 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

From the days when the sun was starting to set on an empire, as political dangers were gathering in distant lands, when the populous enjoyed their last carefree times before the onslaught of a fire storm of war, that would change so much for ever. ;) ;)

You don't get me off history and politics that easily Zulu. ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

Do I smell another heavyweight thread developing here? ::) - as your resident establishment figure I might have to wade in, and it's much too nice an evening for that 8-) 8-) :y

Look at it this way Zulu, for tonight it is either that Glorious Revolution, the British Embassy situation in Iran and the growing international tensions, or.........Michael Jackson.....terribly sorry old boy, I am a little tired!! ::) ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

 ;D

currently watching Titanic for nth time but still I like it :)

Ah, good one Cem! 8-) 8-) 8-)  A good semi-historical account, with a political slant about the nasty English and the poor down trodden Irish who built the unsinkable ship of Empire! 8-) 8-) 8-) :D :D :D ;)

A great discussion point, which I can see developing towards the oppression of the peasants by the arrogant white western empires, latterly the USA in the 1960's in over Cuba with Marxist ideology winning through to a great victory; well for a small island!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

See, there is an historic and political angle for everything, is there not Professor Zulu?

Actually dont know much about Irish-English..

for Marxists only poor and rich subject is important ;D :y

;D ;D ;D ;D I was thinking more of the exquisite liquid nectar from that small island as a matter of fact Ms Zoom rather than the heady intoxicating liquor of an Empire long gone - something like this......

You may know from newspapers..

Every year many people die..in east.. in Kurdish problem..

Actually its a matter of economy where those people suffered for more than 500 years..even during Ottoman Empire time.. but in the last 20 years problem erupted.. :(

and some green papers also fuelled the fire.. >:(

during the Iraq war , and after invasion of Iraq, some zones become homeland for those people..

Arms become more easy to find..

and finally the "organization" start drug trade on whole Europe  :-/

Lets face it Cem the whole of that region, north towards the Balkans and south east into the middle east and north Africa will be a political and ideological tinder box for many years (centuries?) yet to come!  That is just one of the reasons why Turkey should join Europe and provides links with the Islamic world and the white Christian "gentleman" club of Europe 8-) 8-) 8-).

Was it by accident or design that you chose Sinatra to sing a song?  He, reputedly, was the "property" of the mafia who had "interests" in Cuba, which of course were swept aside with the revolution.  Something that just may have contributed to the assassination of JFK.

As for the music itself, both songs are classics and are wonderfully relaxing :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* 8-) 8-)

agreed..

but problem is so complicated that even the multiplayers dont agree in many subjects..

and looking in the near future the "big brother" although saying support words , a lonely country may well suit some of its black book rules..

of the EU countries, honest and strong support from UK I'm afraid is not enough.. :-/
