BT Home hub - well if I had a hub hub I would need normal cables not cross over, it uses Linux.

Using most of my quota too :y
I'll check tomorrow, but I though Home Hub needed straight cables.  Its probably auto MDX, so either should work anyway...

Can't find the manual - I'll check tomorrow when I might find it.

I had a cross over lying around, which I used before I found the BT cable which is straight through - I think I'll change tomorrow night

It won't affect the latency etc though.  Is it DNS slow to respond, or general high latency?

Dunno, I think it is easier to debug a large barcode generator which is perfect in the office but is slow in one factory, took 3 hours to debug.

Then had to fix someone elses C code - made a char 80 rather than 32
