A few years ago I stopped at our local 24hr Tesco. It was 2am and there were 3 or 4 cars parked in a car park that holds about 1000 cars.
When I came out some numpty had parked so close that I had to get into mine via the passenger door.
How do these people even get a licence to be in charge of a wheel barrow, let alone a car ?  :-?
that happened to me once, some girl parked that close, i couldnt open the door, as she was just parking i glared at her and held my hands up, she mustve been scared at this mad blonde woman glaring at her cos she moved into the next available bay lmao ;D

There seems to be no end to it!! In the same car park today, I came back to this....

.... there's no marked space behind where I parked, so they just tucked in their Ka and left it. Yes, they are touching... guess it's time for me to find another park!  >:( >:(
Never seen anything so bloody ridiculous in my life >:(
if that had been my car i would be absolutely fuming.

I know - especially as they just left it there!!
Luckily, the small mark on my bumper has polished out.... however, the unlucky owner of the Ka would have returned to find a parking fine on their windscreen - they did have a ticket, but were not parked in a designated bay.... the parking attendant just could not believe it!!!!

I had someone park so close they hooked their bumper over my towball.

I was so upset that it didn't rip off the bumper :( :(

Parked up, however lamp post about 6 inches from passenger door. Came back to find a car parked so close to my drivers side (about 9 inches or so)  I could not open my door, I actually had to dent the car with my door to get the door open enough to open a window then knock off the hand brake.

Then ran after it before it hit the car infront - gentle slope.

Got out after 10 minutes and one shithead owned dented & scratched car (my door and my bum).

A few years ago (over 10) I dented a van parked next to me. A few hundred spaces or so, two vehicles total, so why did the van park too close to me?

Putting baby in child seat - I made more room by bashing the van with the rear door until there was enough room.

The van side bent quite nicely from my door.

I always take the cars rego that is next to me and write it on my hand. If not I take up two spaces so they have to park at least half a space away.

Life's to short to worry about a dent on the car door.  Or rust.  It's an Omega - it's not going to rot away, it's already old, and it doesn't matter how smart it looks, you aren't going to get any money for it when you sell it! :)

Not the point though, people should have more respect. I always try and buy behicles which are mint with no dents, I hate bad bodywork.

I don't want to sell it, I know it's worthless in cash terms, but it does matter to me when it's parked on my drive!  :y  :y

I agree - the car is only a hunk of metal, but it's the lack of consideration for others & their property that gets me...
