Must be just me, but have been using my Blackberry Pearl for months on here, no problem.

However, they don't bounce very well, will be looking for another phone/smartphone soon.

Just ask the fliiping shelf stacker where the BEANS are!!!!  :o :o :o  ;D ;D ;D

No man asks for directions, we either know where it is, or think we know and spend hours walking in circles around the store trying to find it  ::)

Shopping? Pink job. ;) That's why they sell car magazines and have a coffee shop in Sainsbury's.

Same trouble I have, mine gets bashed about quite a bit hence a gay phone is no use AT ALL (the new one has a glass front and rear!).

I have just got an android one, pretty small and solid, just what I need plus it makes calls well (my key requirement)

A paper cup and string would be better than any Blackberry!

Android is let down by HTC who produce a bulk of the phones that its used on, App store lets Android down, there are not that many apps, and the ones that are on there are bit poor.

WM needs a huge over-haul to cope with modern touch screen phones

When was the last time you checked, there are chuffing thousands of pointless apps on there plus loads more phone options to choose from.

Although Tunnie has already said that for web use the iPhone is good - should I also consider the HTC, as the lack of useable apps will not bother me because I will simply be using it to log-on here?

I don't talk, text or mail on the 'phone very much so am looking for something that's not too feature heavy as I won't exploit all that it has to offer - but would prefer a largish screen to make using this site as civilised as possible.

last week on one we have in the office, their app store is still way behind. Major draw back is its phone based only, iTunes App store lets you get much more info on the apps.

Actual apps you want are lacking, just try searching for LPG in Android App store  ;)
