I had a couple of acne scarred neanderthal knuckle draggers perform the task Kevin. I'm not sure if they had seen tools  before.. :)

They didn't have a mirror?  ;)

I've just returned from Kwik-Fit.....where I had an oil and filter change. Six litres of Mobil semi-synthetic......and a fresh filter for £29.95...not too bad I think.
The manager stated that the idle speed was too low at about 500/550 r.p.m.......he suggested it should be about 850 r.p.m. Does anyone care to comment?. ::) ::) :)

I hope they didn't put it all in Optimist :P :P :P :P  If they have they have over filled, but that it what I would expect Kwik fittup would do!!  In fact have they actually replaced the filter?? :P :P

 :D :D :D :D :D ;) ;)

What is the cost of the oil and filter if you buy it yourself....... The Kwik-fit youth told me the oil was Mobil semi-synthetic.......How much is a filter?

If you use Vx stuff, with TC, I think it works out a tad under £12 for an oil and filter change :y
