Actually Tunnie, thats about as poor a photo I have seen from a phone camera, its barely even in focus and typical of the iShite

I seem to recall there are a few apps to support MP3's plus an alternative store for music (because lets be straight, itunes is a pain in arse)

I find it as good as any other camera phone... its good enough, get a propper camera out if you want decent photos.

I have a box of all kinds of phones for work use, HTC Desire, Sony Ericssons of various kinds, Nokias too. Older ones include E63's K900i - Blackberry Storms, Curves, everything.

All of them are utter crap, nothing even comes close to the iPhone. I particularity hate the new generation of Nokia's some of them are just unusable, especially Nokia touch screen handsets! 5800 is dire

The bluetooth is minimal, and the camera is on a par with most phones. Actually, thats probably unfair on the gayPhone, its better than most. The worse part of the gayPhone is undoubtedly the cellular signal strength - all smartphones are poor, but iPhone is one of the worse. The 2nd worse part is gayTunes - that software should be banned from being released.

It is obviously a decent music player - it is just an iPod with an afterthought phone added.

On the upside, it is stunningly stable, and 'just works'.  Something that Windows/Symbian/Android smartphones fall down on.

gayPhone + Vodafone = a whole heap of stress (hence my my voda sim is sat in a box now)

Also add in build quality, its extremely impressive.

Agreed. Doesn't matter how many megapixels the camera has when the image is visibly soft at 0.3 megapixels. ::)

The iPhone is appealing to a narrow cross section of users who worship it. To everyone else, myself included, it's a chocolate kettle. I doubt it would survive a week in my pocket without damage, for a start.

I've had mine about 6 months, use it without a case. Thing to remember, like with any big screen touch phone, is not to put keys or change in the same pocket.

With the case its far too big and chunky!

Lol, Tunnie, walk through that 47 I work on with it in your pocket a few times and it would have no screen left.

Hence why I have something small and compromise on screen size, the I4 is even worse as its got a glass back!

But god, that pic you posted is much worse than any I have ever got from any of my phones.

And strangely, I am yet to re-boot my Android based phone  :-/

I'm quite harsh on phones, and I do throw them around a bit, throw them in boxes full of other stuff, and bury keys into them.

The gay, admittedly with an Incipio rear cover and a screen protector, shows little sign of any abuse. Minor scratching on the 'chrome' plastic around front face.

Yet I know someone who dropped hers (a new mum - buggy, baby, bag hung on handle thing), smashed the screen rather unexpectedly. Though Pinky and MDTM, take care with yours, as I've now seem 2 X10s with smashed screens.

But gayPhone fanatics, like all gay Apple followers, are always blinkered and do not see beyond the overpriced, limited junk that comes out of China Cupertino, and assume iPhone is the 'best'. My eldest brother (also a gaphone owner after seeing how shite his Gooseberry was at email) is the same with BMW, believing they must be the best.  I suspect a certain Admin here is the same with GM products.

There is no 'best', its horses for courses.  My killer app need is email, web, RDP, Logmein and Citrix, in that order.  I have specific needs around email that only Windows and (later) iPhones can manage well. So I use what is best for me and avoid iTunes (which is a useless heap of junk), gay as that might sound...

...I guess to some, the status symbol of an iPhone (no, I dont understand that either) is more important than what it does for them...

And he has a iPhone too! Sorry gayPhone!

I a converter, I used to hold the flag for Android, I had one of the early ones HTC Magic. But once i tried the iPhone for work use, I was hooked, the feel, the build, the looks, the fact it always just works!

I am assuming Mark has Sony Experia X10? Thats no better off for cracked screen than iPhone, like them all they are quite fragile. The glass screen is a plus and bad point at same time, its a joy to use, smallest touch and it responds, much better than any plastic screen.

But of course if you drop it....

They are over-priced, same with BMW, thats why i went for the Android, but since i don't pay for my iPhone now it rocks  :P :P

I do agree on the photo quality.....but hey its a jpg.....and about 0.1MB file...so IMO to be expected...play with 100MB Tif files and you can be critical of image quality/sharpness  :y

Nope, not at all.  Just emphasising that crApple products are style of function, hence targetted towards ladies and 'ladies in mens bodies'
