Yep - for instance a standard Lloyds current account only pays interest on the first £2500 of the balance..

But when you have £113 you certainly don't leave it sitting in a current account; you'd spread your risk - on shore, off shore, funds, stocks, properties..

P.S. Maria, but of course I would spend some money on you darling ;)  ;)

Place to go, if your able to become a resident is the Isle of Man, high rate tax is just 18%  :o

Also there is a cap on the amount of tax you can pay!

I suspect most of them are places you wouldn't want to live, though! Although Poland could be nice, plenty of attractive women (unless they've all moved here, of course).. Czech Rep. is quite nice too.

I think I'd just buy an island somewhere, though  ;D
