ah,the good old days my first mobile was the motorola transportable which was very similar to the one pictured,it worked well too

Ditto - when I started work (I know, I'm a baby etc ) the company had one shared luggable like that, which was ultimately replaced by a fleet of the original StarTac phones and from then on it was all downhill

Oddly enough my StarTac survived being bounced off the passenger footwell of my then company car (A Rover 218D) multiple times when it wound me up

lol i still have a working 6310 its my spare back up phone , been sat in a cupboard for 4 years, took it out  the other day and it still powered up!!!
