As a kid Mum used to do a pan of chips and put them in bowls then pour Chicken or Tomatoe soup over them.  Sounds wierd but it was bloody lovely.

all this talk about soup i now fancy some for lunch  so i will be having some home made  carrot and orange soup  with some crusty bread   this time im going to make a fair bit and keep some in the freezer

yes its very nice and easy to make  with just a subtle hint of orange makes really tasty :y

Seem to be living on soup at the moment.

Normally have a toasted breakfast sarni arround 11am  (Bacon, egg, bluck pudding and mushrooms - if no black pudding then swap for hash brown) Couldnt be bothered cooking it today so had a tin of cream of mushroom to keep me going with the intetion of ordering a chinese takeaway tonight.

Suddenly relised it was 10pm and had not eaten so just had a tin of cream of tomotoe.

Need to stock up as I am really enjoying the soups in this cold weather.

Wonder if they have invented a sunday roast soup yet.  ::)

No problems there.

Just had Bacon, egg and black pud toasted Sarni (X2) and 2 cups of coffe, just trying to warm through a bit before I shower. :-/
