FIL died last night.....

Father in Law died last night, but due to a mix up in communication involving a phone call to swmbo who misunderstood a phone call last night l...emotions and all, ::) I did not find out until I rang to see how he was at lunch time today....It's a long story.... ::) ::) ::)

It was not unexpected, we had a scare just before Christmas..

Anyway left work and drove up to Sunderland, meet with the in-laws family and the funeral director to sort things out.....Never done anything like this in my life, but at 53 with 2 sets of parents we knew it was inevitable...  At this stage swmbo did not know, I did not want to ring her at work so got back home in time for her coming home.....Not the most pleasant of news to pass on :'( :'( and then there are the kids to tell.... I have had better days.... :(

Its never easy Vamps.  Been there, done that.  My FIL died in my arms a few years ago.  Not easy.  My sincere condolences....
