Bingazi was the last safe harbor and city to land imo..

as it was predictable that this will also be captured, operations started immediately..

so Lizzie, your suspicion about that subject is right.. ground troops will be used..

Absolutely NOT. There is no UN mandate and no stomach for a ground offensive amongst the allies. Plus it would take ages to get men and equipment there.

The only swift resolution will be if the Tomahawk programmers have the coordinates for Muammar's bedtime cup of cocoa.  ;) ;D

air bombardement will continue some time.. then some troops will be used.. I'm sure the military officials are heavily thinking on that subject.. if they want result they have to..

the only other solution is to drop the japanese nuclear plants on Qaddafi's head ;D

however using ground troops will have adverse effects on locals..  even using tomahawks will, no doubt..

I'm afraid the situation will get more complex then anyone can handle sooner or later.. :-/
