Cheers Tunnie,
I'll see what I am going to do next F1 season, after we see how it goes on the BBC with half of the races shown in highlight form. I am loathe to pay for TV which also gets revenue from advertising.
For F1, there will be no advertising during the live race. Nor are there any during the Films.
I just Sky+ everything and fast forward adverts
I realise that, but my point is that I pay for a Public Broadcast Channel (BBC), and get FREEview in with the cost, the other commercial channels have to fund themselves from advertising. Why can't SKY just get the advertising to pay not the subscribers?
How much is paid to cousin WAYNE, and his muppets? SKY is the curse of the working mans game FOOTBALL.
Still who am I ? we only watch TV for about 3 hours a day if there is a decent drama on, and the news.
I just happen to be an F1 fan one who is deprived of watching a sport I like, without having to pay for all the crap( for me) that comes with it

Thin edge of the wedge in my opinion we will end up paying for all TV and not just the BBC which in my humble opinion should compete on a level playing field with the commercial channels, and be supported by advertising.
If you want the Asian network, Radio3 and the World Service etc then subscribe
