last newent meet mrs DTM and myself went for some retail therapy to gloucester and took the scenic route back to the site! mainly due to being too lazy to get the map out of the boot!!!
won't happen this year we both have satnav now!!!!!!!! ;D

Actually we went to gloucester shopping! We then drove back the scenic route to check on the boys and their toys! Then we got bored and went to find a pub!

If you are looking for a nice Pub to visit the Boat at Ashleworth is great although they only did snacks last time I went there. There is also a pub called the Glasshouse near Cliffords Mense which does great Thai food. Ross-on-Wye is worth a visit also again not too far from Newent.


We found a factory outlet just a wee bit further west, not far from Ross on Wye, the usual cafe n' stuff, loads of top make clothing at really good prices...  so, if it's raining :y

Mrs TheBoy gets lost leaving the house, so won't go anywhere without 'bird' - her trusty old ipaq.  If we're in the tractor, she'll be in trouble as no bird holder, and she'll never get it set up bluetooth.  I could teach her to use the Carin unit, but life is too short ;D

I only get lost when i can't be arsed finding a map! and,yes, even though i am female i can read a map!!! ;D
