I actually like it.

Good colour, and in side profile has nice proportions.

Also, seems reasonably good value with the price of cars today. And being a derv 58,000 miles is sweet f*uck all. I imagine the diesel motor will still be running long after you own motor has stopped for good. >:D
Thanks.....I think  ;D

That old derv lump could last anything up to 3 years, so I'm on pretty safe ground thinking it will outlast you. >:D ;)

Got it home, so now I can STFU for a while. Getting used to a manual box will take a while, esp approaching roundabouts from 70mph  ;D
He's gone to Birmingham so left me the keys in a safe place. The Volvo keys were also in there, and it was parked next to mine, so I'm guessing that's sold too.
The Astra is sorted and parked up in a stable yard, ready to be hauled away.

I drove a manual box the other day and it's a bit like riding a bike......something you don't forget.

That reminds me. Did you have to push the clutch (the pedal on the left in >:D) to start it. Not something we used to do.

Have to say I really enjoyed it.

I think this will prove ideal for you and Muttley in the twilight years.

Yes, I think so too.
Usual things to sort, one key and a bottle of glue. Space saver ordered and Timpsons will do me a key for £150.

You have to blame the famously stupid, incompetent and lazy litigious ::) Americans for it being 'necessary' today.
