Driven it back along with the "tin tent" had three weeks away in Yorkshire the new caravan is superb a real " home from home" out of all the vehicles I've towed with nothing compares to the Range Rover, simply effortless..
A true pikey palace should be towed behind a clapped out transit with a stripe down the side, and tarmac gear in the back ;D

A heavy SUV with a thumping great diesel with bags of torque is an ideal tow car, and bigger Landrovers and Range Rovers do excel at that better than most :y.  You must have had the Rangie for a while now?

Which is why I'm holding onto my ML350 with its 620Nm of torque while I can  :y
.

Just checked the Range Rover in comparison not a lot of difference at 640 nm,  so that's another possibility if ever I get round to changing it.

Ticked off a few jobs on the ML and TPC.

ML now has a working steering rack gaiter, yes the genuine one cost me £58 but it actually fits. Nipped up the CV boot clip that I had replaced for the MoT as there was a bit of movement on it still whilst I had the wheel off. Next was replacing a side repeater on the passenger door mirror as a chat with one of the many overgrown hedges that line the A roads around here had cracked it. One screw so easy enough, but took an hour to get the mirror glass back on securely  >:( Final job for it was swapping the defective disc changer with a functioning one.

TPC had the hardware fitted for the rear side window blinds, thanks to next door for the loan of his rivnut tool. Also fitted the correct door frame trims. These came via Hungary thanks to a Polish seller who doesn't believe in postage. A colleague who commited from Budapest very kindly offered to have them delivered to hers and then brought them over as hand luggage ;D Just need the door cards to arrive and that will be another upgrade done. 8)

You saying that reminds me that i still have a new after market  off side rear light cluster for my Vectra C hatch in the garage loft. I reversed into a hidden post last year breaking it so got it from Ebay. Never did fit properly, even with a fair amount of fettling, (opening up the fixing holes really) so in the end i got a good used genuine one which went straight on. If anyone wants it, or you know anyone who does, it's going for free.

Fair play to them, one of the orders this week arrived exactly as expected.

The other 2 are late, because despite ordering on Sunday, they were only given to the courier late yesterday.  Fast and Free my arse!

To be fair, at least stuff here gets delivered within a week. Sellers in the States can't guarantee to get something three states over by a given date ???

I have generally found ordering anything from Germany is far quicker delivery and the correct item compared to most items i've bought this Country
