We are the minority now. Tats rules Ok. Vaping. Drugs, Zombie pedestrians with mobile glued to left hand. These are the people the world now belongs to!

One of the wife's teachers in a previous school was pretty much tattooed all over. However, nothing showed outside of her business suit, so no problem. She was pretty wacky by all accounts, but one of the best teachers Mo has ever come across.

Sounds like Lord Opti's kinda gal!  :y

Maybe she could teach him a thing or two?  ???  >:D

Admired it!
Whilst taking a step back from thinking about how to solve my door loom issue, I thought what a lovely looking car the Omega still is.....and 22 years on from buying my first Omega, wouldn't be without one...

Same here. Some other cars I quite fancy owning, but couldnt face getting rid of the Omega.
Lots of people admire it and want to talk to me about what a great car they were. " They dont make cars like that any more" is the usual comment.

Another consideration, of course, is what you would get for the money would get for the omega.

The XE gets a lot of use, so rarely needs to be treated like an EV.  The XJ, on the other hand, was filled up with fuel in March, and then filled up again about 10 days ago (and was nowhere near empty!)

I thought all of these fancy modern electronics didn't like the battery running down

We briefly owned a Jaguar Mondeo X-Type in 3 litre V6 four wheel drive flavour. It was crap, being plagued by just about every electrical fault imaginable. :-\

Not a prop Jaaagggg though. :)

I had an XE (2  litre derv, I think) as a loaner car once.

With a proper engine (Petrol) it would have made a good car because it felt good to drive.
