Receive ETS exhaust only ordered on Friday, now to find time to put it on  :y

have you checked the size of clamps that they sent  ;) if any
I would like to think they have overcome this by now, as that must have been over a year ago ;D

Flushed cooling system and refilled with long life antifreeze as when the previous owner had the belt and  kit and water pump replaced was so tight fisted that they just re-filled with plain water  :y :y

IIRC GM Red is advised due type. :-\ :-\ :-\

Alas, getting 2.6 auto ready to break as spares - too good to scrap but no meaningful resale value it appears ,so have replaced engine oil and filter, repaired contact leak to LPG. Have decided ( well convinced she who must be obeyed) to keep my 3.2 manual ex plod MV6 , so it may well be that the 2.6 auto becomes a donor for some of the parts.

Had a flat @ 6pm in London yesterday.  >:(  But a very nice man from the AA came within the hour and fixed it.  :)  Down the tyre shop in the morning.  :'(

Thanks for the input re my to do list, car came via a mechanic mate, plugs and coil pack were boiled in oil due to the leaking rocker cover gasket, was not running well! Yes there is oil in the coolant, so changing the oil cooler added, though it only seems to be floating on the top?
Think that some bushes will need doing and plan on getting four wheel alignment done, wheels in motion seems the preferred place, who is the expert in Reading mentioned?

Sold my 1998 Landcruiser Colorado yesterday afternoon to a motor dealer - pleasantly surprised how it had held onto a good chunk of the price I had paid for it 5 years ago, but was time to sell it as a number of jobs needed doing on it before the next MOT and I still have the  2 omegas and just got a new 4x4. I`ll be keeping the manual MV6 but intend to break the 2.6 for spares, some of which will be for the future needs of the MV6.Guess the first job I`ll be doing next week is finding some old/spare wheels and tyres ( for when its towed down to the scrappy) as the set I have on the 2.6 auto can be used on the MV6

Oil and filter and a bit of handbrake adjustment on the 2.6.

Just need a new windscreen now as the two cracks are horrendous! Hope it's not such a farce this time with VX telling Autoglass that the Omega never had a heat reflective windscreen and it was never fitted with a rain sensor either.... it all went very quiet for two weeks when I gave them the GM part number. Still, three attempts later and they finally turned up with the correct screen and the right trims.

Possibly. Slightly more noticable with throttle off. Only heard it at about 30mph.

Do like those, I have a set in the shed which I'm toying with putting a set of Rainsports on for later in the year.
