Be afraid, be very afraid....

I've a newly aquired Class 1 license, and as soon as someone lets me, I shall be trying to remember how to drive properly :P I mean use it ::)

As for the new car... Anyone seen Josh lately :-X

In six years, I've actually gotten off quite lightly in the sick department :y people generally couldn't afford to be sick in my car ::)

Topped up the screen wash :y

Oh, took all the stickers off, handed the plate back to the Council and picked up and fitted my refurbished MV6 wheels 8)

Didn't get around to the kebab stains :-[ mostly because, once I'd put the wheels on, it was all I could manage to stare at them dribbling :D

Will post pics once I've worked out the whole photobucket thing ::)

A taster...

Replaced the pads on her Panda... 3 of them had 4mm on them, 1 had no friction material ::) So much for dealer servicing (less than 3k ago) >:( ::)

Fortunately she stopped early enough that the disc face was ok :y

Also replaced the front H/L level sensor that broke at the Lakes (cheers Pinky) instead of just using a cable tie to hold it in ::) and cycled the levelling motors to get them back to the correct height :y

When I did my work experience at the Ford main dealer in Guildford, I spent most of the week doing first services. Was told to take the wheels off everything, in order to check the pads/discs :y

Now they only take the wheels of to change the tyres :-\

Completely accidental actually ::)

On a previous car she only commented on the grinding noise 3 weeks after it had started when I asked her how long it had been doing it ::)

Having popped the new (refurbed) wheels on yesterday, drove :y down to see my brother today :y

Ride is still fine :y wasn't entirely sure what to expect with the change in wheel size, but no probs :y

Killed the clutch :'( LUK one done juyst over 100k, and started slipping on the M27  >:( you know the situation,  outside lane of motorway clears, stomp on the loud pedal and the revs jump 500 or so :'( before gradually settling back to previous speed.

Before any pedants pipe up, the car is a manual ::)
