Mechanically nothing much out of the ordinary really with a V6 Omega,I've done oil cooler, cam cover gaskets, breathers, cam belt, usual Omega stuff really! Mot wise, failed on the N/S/R brake pipe which can be a mission and steering idler, but overalll pleased with her,10 years old and 160k can't really grumble

Hello and welcome to the site.  Given your age and insurance woes, I'd plump for a 2.2 CD or above.  :y

If choice and finance permit an MV6 (sport) or Elite (toys) would be best choice, but both are V6 and pricey to insure :-[

;)Congrats on passing your test. Despite Migs being value for money ins. groups are a bit steep.
Try confused.com & enter a few models you fancy (cars!!) then you'll get an idea what to shop for.
Let us know when you find your Mig. [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]
