paperclip tested and got..........
« on: 19 November 2006, 11:27:44 »

just done the paperclip test and got fault 19, 144 & 145. done with the engine running. this is on my 1996 (p) 2.5 v6 gls estate with the bosch system. first one is incorrect crank sensor rpm signal and the other 2 are no immobiliser signal received and incorrect immobiliser signal received? where do i go from now? i have only used the car a couple of times, waiting for insurance changeover, but the fuel gauge seems to go down quick any relation to the faults? tone.

Crank sensor is shafted, replace before using car (it WILL let you down otherwise).  I suspect the 144/145 will disappear ;)
