The answer is simple. If everything still works fine, it didn't need to be there in the first place and therefore there is no need to worry.

However, if you throw it away, you will no doubt discover about 3 days later that it was a vital component and will cost you £500 to replace! [smiley=grin.gif] oh, any they probably don't make them anymore either!

Agreed   Put it somewhere very safe......but not somewhere so safe you carnt find it again (speaks from experience with 4 spark plugs and still havent found them )
