I could take the ABS ECU off my donor car for you if it's the right one, but I've never taken one off before...
need to check ident code...
prolly also need tech2 to correct config variants...

Would it have 2 be the same engine :-?
For variant code, probably. I would need to check what variant options there are, but its cold and dark out there now...

Would a fault like this affect MOT?
If it happened during testing, yes.

How will it affect the MOT?

It will be the difference between a years ticket, and one of those nasty fail tickets.

LSG 1 did you have a look at your sensors and plug at abs unit? Also for anyone, had a problem with cdc safe on my radio which I still have but I took my radio out and have basically had this problem since just after that, also my rear passengers side electric window has stopped working. Now is the abs tc speedo thing a coincidence or could I have disturbed something around the radio that could have give me the abs tc speedo problem and rear window problem? Also have lost power steering a couple of times when starting the car then it just starts working again within a minute

But the abs does...

Also TB ABS only stops the brakes locking up but with older cars that don't have ABS they can still pass so how does this work :-?
