Trim levels?
« on: 14 January 2007, 18:14:58 »

After looking around the forum, I've been unable to find a listing of the various trim levels on the Omega.... I'm thinking of buying a 2002/3 car, but haven't found what the heck CD, CDX, GLS, Elite etc etc actually mean! Unless you know what these are the letters are meaningless!

Can anyone help with a listing so I know what's what please?

Regards
Eddy

Thought their was something under FAQ or Tech Info.

Basically model range goes:
GLS
CD
CDX
Elite

MV6 is a sportier style, and fits in just above CD in facelift range.

You're right, no trim stuff for facelifts. Hopefully someone will write something up soon...

Thankyou.... Would anyone care to elaborate a bit further and give full details of the various facelift trim levels? I'm sure I can't be the only one that doesn't know what they are? ;)

Thanks guys....

I noticed that you don't allow images to be posted directly to this website - I can understand why, they take up HUGE amounts of space!

But, if anyone wants to post a message with links to high res scans, I could host them on my website so you can link to them.... Please PM or Email me if anyone is interested in doing that, the offer is there....

Its not the space, but the bandwidth, why we don't currently allow images.  We recommend the free photobucket.com as a picture host...

Okay, bandwidth isn't a problem for me either, so the offer still stands.... Admittedly you cannot upload yourself, you'd have to send me the photo via email, and I would reply with a link to the image so you can post it. Not an ideal solution, but as I said the offer is there...

Thanks for the offer.  Some users here do host on their own webspace, though as I say, we've found photobucket.com to be excellent...

Must've been thinking about my Veccy  :-[  I bought this one cos the dealer knocked a third off new price and threw in free mats  ;) but that was nearly 4 years ago and my mind isn't what it used to be.  CD has clear indicator lenses - GLS orange - I do remember that.  ;)

I though all facelifts had clear indicators (could be wrong) - sure your gls wasn't prefacelift?
