more ponies is easy matre, as to susapension i have Irmsher uprated lowered springs and poly bushes, along with airshocks for towing!! so it handles well on its own and is quite capable of towing the twin axle van as well!!!

Are the air shocks on self levelling or seperate valve? Also if there are self levelling did you have to adjust it in any way?

As you may have guessed I'm looking at uprated springs but keep hitting the not suitable for self levelling bit and as all the shocks are newish I'm still undecided.

Steve

mine are self levelling shocks controlled by a manual valve!!! basicaly i just set the height where i want it depending on loads, the self levelling is just a pain tbh I simply connected the airlines to a pressure guage with a shcrader valve on it and can run them as i want!

shox dont determine the height mate its the springs that do that, mine are irmsher estate springs which are 40mm lower than standard estate springs but are stiffer in poundage the air shocks raise the ccar for towing purposes as they lift about 60mm on full extension i got the best of both worlds!!
Its a chip that was done on a rolling road in a car with the same software as your ecu mate hence i need the nine digit code on your car to get the correct software version you have, teh chip carries your map! that help?

Thanks, I will take a look tomorow, I was told that my 2002 (52) may not be able to be re-mapped or chipped as it may be a Hybrid ECU???? meaning it cannot be done, would you know from the ecu nine digit code.

How easy is it to install the chip.?? :o :-?

Thanks for your help mate. [smiley=dankk2.gif] [smiley=dankk2.gif]

[depends on whether or not your ecu has a chip carrier or the chip is soldered to the board? nine didgit code can tell us your version yes but havent yet seen a hybrid ecu!! as long as its a 2.5td it should be fine but as always if its a sludge pump you will probably melt teh gearbox !! unless its reasonably new!!
or has been fitted with an ar 35 at some time!!
