I think TC discount (on the things which are on TC - generally service type items, but also incl exhausts, rads..)) is much more than normal trade, so well worth getting IMHO.

The form I got from the dealer was a photocopy, just a matter of scanning it and faxing off to the number on the form.

I joined ABS, got membership card with their TC number on it. My dealer just frowned & said they should'nt be giving it out.
Although they said at time of joining that they had arrangement with certain participating dealers.
They did give me discount though that time using another members details. Find it all frustrating as like most i would prefer to use genuine parts.

All participating dealers (virtually all Vx dealers), will and must accept the ABS card.  If they are unsure, they need to call their TC rep.

Hi,

Ive gotta buy the following tomorrow to fix mine :

Camcover gaskets
O Rings
Spark Plugs
Sealant

Roughly £75-£80 worth.

If i joined ABS and got the TC card through before buying them am i likely to get my £20 membership fee back in the savings i will make on these parts?

I reckon you'd save about a tenner.  The only trade club item is the plugs,  the others you would get normal trade price which is obviously discounted but not as much as the TC items.   However buy 4 cans of oil for 30 quid at the same time and you'd be well up.
