Easy job to fix on the V6. This is a symptom of a blocked breather system. Clean that lot out 1st.

There's a post in the maintenance section.

Nice one guys. Anyone know where in the North of England i can get this work done at a reasonable price? (i.e. not main dealer) Or someone on the forum who can do it for some cash?

Dont mind having a bash at it myself but i need to reset the ECU to tell it its been fixed?

Thanks again.

Tom, firstly, DON'T WORRY about this small problem...  make sure that GENUINE VX cam cover gaskets are used... others will NOT LAST... that's whoever does the job... also it's reasonably easy..  it's a shame there isn't a cambelt party very soon... could get it sorted good style and moderately cheaply too!

Loads of help on here... keep posting updates, we'll get it all sorted,  a cambelt change is advisable too, in the very near future, that's if no service record or proof of a recent change...

And a big OOF welcome to you too..

Just done a paperclip test and no faults found (other than 31 for no RPM) - i dont know if that is a good or bad sign?

Though the bloody bonet release handle seems to have broken so i cant even see the engine anyway grrrr  :(
