Alternator/auxillary/fan belt ..... but when you do the timing belt you'll have the engine stripped down enough to make changing the water pump an extra 20 min to the whole job.

Hello again people..
It was me that started this thread a few days ago but having terrible internet conection problems hence the delay in replying...
I like the sound of the expansion cap possibly being at fault as it'll be a cheap fix but i do remember vauxhalls saying while changing the belt and water pump there where signs of water marks staining something ( unless they where fibbing just to get more hard earned cash out of me?)
