Thanks Skruntie, they look like big single piston calipers on a carrier. At a guess I'd say they might be Monaro or GTO items....

When I replied I just remembered the 6 pot bit, then I looked him up and found the pics.  But there is annother modded Cattera so I may have got the wrong car.  Other members may remember.

I will add he did quite a write up at the time and went into some detail and plenty of pics.  (Who ever it was  :))
