the rust spot from where the oil was leaking is on the flat part of the sump right underneath, and its about the size of a £2 coin so pretty big, ive actually put the putty on now and so far so good no drips, no leaks, so as a temp fix its looking promising  :y but say i decided to leave it as it is with the putty on the sump covering the leaky rust patch and i had an MOT done....would it fail on the MOT due to this quick fix patch on the sump :question
