During highway driving everything is ok at 130 km/h but around 140 to 145 car starts to shake.
Can anyone write down the possible reasons for this in some order how is best to check them.

maybe the engine mountings, apart from that could be springs or shocks, even the propshaft. there are lots of stuff on the car that can make it shake rattle and even roll but you dont wont the last one

your wheels need re-balancing mate.

I would go for the wheel balancing first have you clipped a kerb  :-?

Mine does the same some bloke gave me qoute £15 for all 4 set to zero id try this first especially as the other possibilites are more dosh 8-)

as stated above, wheel and tire balance problem..

but try some shops who makes the balance with wheels on car.. and if more than 15-20 gr is required either the wheel is buckled or the tire needs turning (around the wheel) ..

Well I did have the suspension balanced after I bought new tyres. Only the morons balanced the suspension first and then replaced the front and back wheels  (just replaced cause new tyres were alrealdy indtaled on front wheels, now they're on the back)
Car seems to shake from the back, sprigs seem ok and so do the shocks

140-145 km/h requires a good balance.. I suffered a similiar problem in the past.. and it was found to be slightly buckled wheel.. But this was found after changing with another wheel as we were thinking it was the tire..

try an adviced shop in your area.. :-/

It does sound like you have thrown a weight, you could try putting the spare on to compare.

If the issue is down to wheel balance then vibration felt through the steering wheel around 55mph means the front wheels are out of balance.
If the vibration happens around 65mph and above and is felt through the seat and not through the steering wheel then it is the rear wheels.

Unfortunately Agemo can't put a spare on cause it is smaller wheel (15), and definitely dont want to drive 145 km/h with diferent size wheels.
Turk know about this what you have written, shaking is felt through the seat not the steering wheel so it is coming from the back

Just to throw something else in to the mix of suggestions...our MIG used to shake the occupants from side to side in their seats at certain speeds.

Problem cured after new wishbones, droplinks, & front shocks fitted.

Thanks KillerWatt but shaking seems to come from the back, so I guess everything in the fron is ok
