Thanks Lazydocker. This is the first bit of serious spanner work on this car but I had the engine out of my last Omega because I couldn't face fixing the head gaskets in-situ. Access to everything was easy  :y (and the bastard bolt isn't nearly so scary without the ABS pump in the way)
