anyone got pictures of both type of c/s sensors for 2.6 2001 the dealers tell me they cant tell me which one i need but car has now died

if i remember correctly, 2.6's all had the same crank sensors. Its the 2.5/3.0 that had 2 kinds....

Although i could be wrong  :)

tried looking up that partno could it have changed to
90492006 or 90458251

thanks Rob had to use a non genuine as no local dealers had one. I know this goes against all advice but i had to get car running again. Since replacing it she runs a lot better. What a way to spend my birthday. :-/ :-/

I`d buy genuine at the earliest opportunity. Keep it in the boot for when the pattern one fails :)

It was bought as a spare for going to France last year, it would be bad enough having one fail in the UK, but France would have been a PITA ....  ;)

If you keep a spare in the boot it will stop the one fitted failing ::)
