back door locks

hi folks wifes just informed me both back doors wont open from outside .. been and checked and shes right why should this be  :o central locking appears to work and interior handle opens them ,but just wont open from outside

Linkage from exterior handle to lock mechanism broken? You'd have to be very unlucky for both to gone at a similar time though  :(  ;)

just been out had a quick look boot lock playing up as well seems to be central locking very strange as central seems to be working if you lock and unlock doors a few times seems to be ok  :-/
