Update re no heater! Whilst i was away on a booze cruise this weekend iv had some work done on problem, It looks as if before i bought the car it as had a problem with heater matrix (ie) leaking coolant! so some idiot blanked it off & yes just replaced it with neet water (no antifreeze) of coarse with the cold snap we had froze up, then when they tried to start it up it caused the impellers to brake off on the water pump (hence hot top end cold lower end) the car runs without overheating now

, next step to try heater matrix! Any help or advice gladly appreciated.

Heater now seems to work but cab steams up when it reaches temp (like a turkish bath)
