Water Pump - Big Money!
« on: 25 April 2010, 18:35:21 »

Hi all, I rang my local Vx garage (Evans Halshaw) earlier this week for a price for a water pump for my 3.0 V6 and they quoted me £119 + VAT!!!! I suggested that they had mis-quoted me but they told me it is now a dis-continued part and that is why it was so expensive.

Where else should I go/enquire for a quality water pump?

TIA

Discontinued part.  What were they smoking. Idiots.

Price sounds right, as they have jumped in price, even around £60 on TC now.

Yes, trade club price tripled this year....which is a disgrace.

So, I now buy QH or contitech from factors for the 20-30 quid mark
