My exhaustpipe broke in two at the ''flexibelt''

I broke my exhaustpipe in two at the ''flexibelt'' so i wonder if i can replace it with this : http://www.biltema.no/no/Bil---MC/Motor/Eksosanlegg/Fleksibelt-skjoteror-universal/ . Is it the same? The car is a Opel Omega B 1996 2.0L. *sorry for bad english :p

If you mean the flexi at the cataytic converter, the inside diameter of the pipe on the 2.2 exhaust is 51mm and we use this http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m15b0s1411p5644 not sure about the size on the 2.0ltr

assume 2.0 is same size (although exhaust setup is different on 2.0)

Pop down pipe off and weld the replacement on  :y

Just done a search seems inside diameter is the same. You could possibly use the part on the Norwegian link if you have a decent welder doing the job.

1.8 2.0l  omega and vectra pipes are same size but 2.2 bore size has a lip, if welding back on best to be gas welded not mig, vectra one are twice the size of omega's in lenth. if you do get the one of the web do remember that you only have 20-25 cm, 250mm to play with as if out of heat sheld and rubber mounts the systerm will fall off as engine pushes back and side to side and needs the space,:y
