a couple of things here....

Omegas do indeed have a clutch-type LSD and they use a special oil. use of an oil not designed for clutch-type LSD will cause the plates to stop wotrking instantly - hence no LSD action.

You can work out the ratio quite easily - I'll do it for you if you like. I need to know the tyre size and make and how many revs you're doing at a speed in 4th gear. Must be accurate, so use sat-nav for the measurement.

for reference,

(mph per 1000 revs) = 60000 divided by (diff ratio times wheel revs per mile)

you measure the mph/1000 - dooing this at 4000 seems to work quite well
I look up the wrpm based on which tyres you have

and then I tell you the answer.

what oil do you mean when you say SPECIAL oil

critical thing is to either buy diff oil which has friction modifier blended at the factory eg silkolene or use normal sae 90 and add the little tube of friction modifier from your local gm dealer for pennies.
