crankcase pressure is caused by piston blow by.

the pressure created is the same in the sump as it is in the cam covers(oil drains down from the cams to the sump.)

trucks never suffer from crankcase leaks from pressure build up because the are just vented to atmosphere.

a good crankcase breather system on a light motor vehicle will "suck" if you remove the filler cap.

3/4 bore hose used  by other manufacturers in a breather system doesnt seem to cause any bother.
