3.2 elite odd braking noise help required
« on: 21 September 2011, 20:48:35 »

hi all i have a strange noise coming from what appears too be my front brakes when braking hard it seems too be coming from the front passanger side but i have only just replaced the discs and pads and the rear pads, heres the odd thing when i first got the car the guy said it could do with rear pads as they were noisy so changed them the noise sstill there so next i do the fronts and hey presto still noisy its like a deep rotation noise if that makes sense like a worped disc or nearly worn out pad, no vibration or pulling just a worrying noise the car was moted today and all is well with wheel bearings and suspension bushes so i was wondering if anyone else has suffered this??
any help much appreciated

funny you say that your not the first too say that to me but wouldnt tyres make the noise all the time?? i also have a vectra 3.2 gsi and i put avons on the rear which made it sound like a wheel bearing was gone changed them to bridgestones... noise gone
this noise seems to come on like a switch when you get to a set brake pressure its really stumped me
