My car is a facelift model and the nav system is a Type NCDC 2013.
I had always wondered if I could upgrade it to a full colour system by just  adding the Full colour display, although I guessed they were expensive.

My original question though was to ask if the zoomed intersections mentioned in a previous post, that have been added to the 2007/08 CD would display on the text only display that I have got or if the full colour display was needed.

You won't get the zoomed in bit on your mono display, as it has no map functionality.  You need the CID for this functionaility I'm afraid.

shall be finding out 1s thing tomorrow morning I hope. TrafficMaster talk about TMC a lot on their web-site, so I'm going to call them with debit card in hand.

If they say it will work with my NCDC2013 then I'm going to try it. I want a TM system that dynamically re-routes me round bad traffic, and is fitted into the car

The TMC for the NCDC2013 was never pursued despite the intentions from VX in 2000/01. I queried this some years ago and was told that as VX no longer supporting the only option would be for separate unit based on VDO. It will not work on NCDC.
