Sounds good .. think I'll try it as well ... especialy with Kevin's "money back" guarantee ....  :)

Doesn't yours have a rain sensor?

.. and as for the money back guarantee, the solution has been proven by Big_Roger so any problems will be considered down to user error and not covered. :P

Kevin

No rain sensors on this one, and fixed intermittent which is why I'm trying your idea ...  :)

And as to the withdrawal of the guarantee on such slim grounds ... well I'm lost for words .....

It does just pull out but sometimes they can be stiff. Might help to remove the whole socket and ease it out with a flat bladed screwdriver.

Got the flick then intermittant which sets the delay interval thing.  How do you reset it to another timing?  Switch off and restart/repeat as required??   :-/

Yes, I think so.

I have added the above details to the maintenance guide.

Right . ... relay arrived and installed .. just got to learn how to use it now !!!

So ... "flick wipe" by single pull up on stalk as if about to wash screen. Then select intermittant and the relay will "learn" that time interval ??

or am I a numpty ??   :)

That is my understanding, but not done it yet, and the time between the flick, and selecting intermittant becomes the time interval until next time.

Think its more of the vertical, normal axis of movement, quick single wipe type activation rather than back towards you wash/wipe.  Then click onto intermittant and the relay does the time repeat interval between the two activations until switched off/further on.  ;)

Ahh I get you ... so towards intermittent but not quite for the "flick wipe" then into intermittent to set the time gap .. :)

Will try tomorrow as it looks certain to be raining !!!  :(
