Why such urgency??

Tax is up this month... don't want to spend another £100 on it.

MOT is up next month, got a feeling its going to be a pig for the MOT in terms of time and money.

Next month the 2.2 is due some tax too.

So to tax them both and MOT the estate looking a min of £250

Going to Slovina in 2 weeks...  when i get back planning to go Snowboarding with a friend from work, and i want to learn to ride a motorbike. So i can't afford to spend time/money on the Estate which needs (hope auction buyer does not see this)

heat matrix needs fixing, multirams, new radio ariel, rear washer jet, side light, broken heated seat, aux belt tensioner, climate dash bulbs, handbrake cable adjustment, something is clunking up the front end, not sure if its a wishbone or what, but when i pull into the drive, there is a nasty clonk... needs front grill re-spraying..... ohh and the cam covers too!

All of the above needs time and a lot of money looking at at least £400 i would say to keep both on the road for the next 2 months.... and i cannot be bothered, i don't understand how quite a lot of the V6 stuff works... so thats why i would like it gone by the weekend!

I can see where your coming from TBH, it's in that zone where it needs some money spending on it to get it right and you have other priorities right now.

If someone buys it cheap enough (for them) then it's viable to sort the problems or if it had decent tax and MOT they'd just run it until they run out then strip it and sell the parts for a profit. Unfortunately a lot of fixable cars end up like that these days.

The cheapness of 9yr old cars is great for us but you do have to think twice about spending much on them if something major needs doing.

£400!!!

Surely not.

Camcovers, £55.

Seat - probably a connection (was working before) - Free

Handbrake fix for MOT - Free (I'll send you some brand new shoes)

Clunk? Sounds like a new problem, but most likely where you hit that nasty bump. Probably droplinks at £20 pair.

Aux tensioner I agree has had it - £26.

Matrix - reverse flush it, get some forte. £5?

Multirams, all you need is a couple of Vacc hoses to make them work.

Max has an arial he can give you?

And the bulbs, rear washer, etc, allow maybe £15. Scrappy?

That puts the price to fix the niggles at a much more realistic £121.

You worry toooo much :y

If it's just the pulley i've got a used one repacked with grease. nothing wrong with it, the noise on mine is down to the aircon compressor.

If you want it PM me your address....

.. and how much more would it go for with 12 months MOT and niggles fixed?

Selling a car just before MOT is up gives buyers a bad feeling.
