Indicators Failed
« on: 22 November 2011, 14:19:01 »

Travelling into Leicester this morning the indicators failed, including on the hazards and the radio went to safe mode. Have checked the fuses and they all seemed OK.  Tried the hazard lights when I got home  and they suddenly started working, including the indicators, radio is still on safe, will leave it there for the time being, all other lighting circuits were working OK.
    Any help appreciated. :y

I would double check fuses 2 and 12 just in case they are loose or making a poor connection. The other possibility is the indicator flasher unit (in the relay box below steering wheel) but I'm not sure why it would have taken out the radio. :-\

I have checked all the fuses, including 2 & 12 gave them a good clean, checked relay,
reset the radio, had a ride round town to see if anything would shake loose. Everything working fine now????? ??? Did notice I need to replace the left hand instrument panel bulb though. ???????
  Thanks for your replies :y

P S  Think it was just the indicators that failed. Radio went to safe mode when I pulled fuse number 12 to check it :-[ :-[ :-[  Sorry :-[ :-[ Has Dell boy would say, What a plonker!!!
