It was my local Vauxhall dealer that quoted me the £70 approx. for a new replacement. Member andyc may be able to confirm if they are still available, and at what price; it was over two years ago when I enquired.

The chip I transplanted is one of the two soic8 fellas, X24C00. Be aware that these were glued down, as well as soldered, on the boards I 'operated on'. My original thread here: http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=87941

Well fixed one good fob out of the two i had,still no good.So it must be the receiver/detector or the module
