Had this email come through regarding discounts at their shop - www.vauxhallworldparts.com

Dear P6ULK,

At current your community has yet to send in a new authorisation code for Vauxhall World Communities 2012.  As requested by many forum owners/admins we will be resetting the community authorisation codes to ensure only Premium / Selected Members are eligible for the Community Discount.

Communities that do/have not sent in their new authorisation codes will be automatically removed on Monday 9th January 2012.

Forum Admins / Owners please send in your authorisation codes to:  Sales@VauxhallWorldParts.com # ATTEN: COMMUNITY AUTH CODE
As per sign-up, the emails must come from your community domain name

We have been listed in their "community discount" scheme for some time and I have mailed them a couple of times asking how one goes about claiming the discount, as none of the Admin team were made aware of it. I'm yet to receive a response.

In any case, as we don't have "premium" memberships I'm not sure it would apply to us anyway. I think I can safely say that if a discount were available it would need to be made available to all OOF members.

Bit cheeky to advertise a discount on the back of OOF, or anyone else, but not actually make it available.

If genuinely no discout available, perhaps they should be asked to remove any wording implying otherwise....? Maybe?
