Just having a chat in the office about the Great Pyramids and it turns out that the Human Race has never been able to build these since

Theres alot of yes and no's on the interweb but some of the stats make you wonder

Must be a slow day in Bury St.E.... ;D

There's that hotel in Vegas.... Think they might have used the wrong materials, though. ;)

What amazes me is how they must have motivated enough young, fit people to do all that hard work. Today we're doing well to motivate the younger generation out of bed in the morning yet alone to start hauling 100 tonne slabs of rock around with their bare hands.

No-one really knows.Theres a lot of conjecture etc. but its one of the great mysteries.I went to Giza a few years ago to see the pyramids / sphinx / Cairo museum and although Im not remotely scholarly or academically inclined, I found the whole subject fascinating.

Not done Cairo, not likely to for a while now, either ;D

Done Luxor and Valley of Kings etc. Mrs TB is also fascinated.
