I'm genuinely really upset, I parted company with my much loved and looked after facelift LPG Omega at 7am this morning  :'(

Thankfully it's staying on the Forum, and is currently on it's way to Scootland driven by Phate321 as we speak, where I'm sure it will be well cared for and enjoyed.

So I'm now no longer an Omega owner  :'(

 :'( :'( :'( :'(

I wonder how long you will have the Discovery for ?

I thought you would have kept the FL quite a bit longer

If I didn't have two dogs then I would have kept it forever!!!

It just simply wasn't safe carrying dogs around in a saloon car. They need to be restrained in the back of an estate or simelar with a dog guard - and I can now meet that criteria :y

if mine's affected by the tax increase, i may have wasted a bomb on the LPG conversion and might also be a non-owner

might end up taking the GF's peugeot 306  :'(

What's your registration date?  I think March 1st is the key date- if before you're ok. (for now..)

its definately march 2001, its a Y reg

Will LPG make a difference or are they gonna be using the "it runs on petrol aswell" argument?

is it 2009 where the tax rockets up?

I know, its what i want but a little sooner than i had planned....so ive been sleeping on it and still no further forward......

I would be more comfortable waiting till summer time but sometimes you need to be bold  :-/ :-X :-/ :-X

Go on, do it... I just did :y
So did i on a smaller scale with the wheels. I won them but was pleased & worried at the same time at auction end. Next day collected & paid & glad i did now! :y

Same with Cars, or parts alike - you pays your money and takes your chance.. and this needs to be taken into account when bidding!

With the landie.. I didn't "bid" - I just asked if I could see it, and waved some ££ in front of him when he saw it was good - and he bit my fingers off ;D

He would have got considerable more at auction.. but he saw I was a genuine and reasonable buyer, and took the lower offer because he knew I wouldn't mess him around over small things and it made things easier all round :y

Glad the Mig's gone to a good home. Discos are generally good but keep your eye out for inside out rot. It can hit these hard which is a shame. Regarding transporting the dogs, two words....
   Mig estate?????? :)
