Title: Bonnet Cable Adjuster
Post by: tunnie on 07 July 2012, 19:32:39
Can the bolt and clip for this be bought alone? Along with bolts which hold tray underneath the cable by the rad?

Cheers chaps. I have fitted a new cable already, but had to reuse old crap bolts. Also can't for life of me figure out how to release handle in the footwell. Not bolted as far as I can see, just clipped. But cannot move the bugger  :(

Very awkward to do, the first one I removed by bending the metal bracket that secures it, once it's off you can then see where to insert a butter knife to release the clip...

Thanks, will take a look, its just loose at the moment. Won't get another look at it for couple of weeks, but it works if you pull the whole assembly for now

Ive never had to remove the Handle, unless your replacing it, on the adjuster side if using the old clip gets some amalgamating tape and tightly wrap it around the new cable (about 6 turns) where you think it needs to be and tighten the adjuster on it.
