Title: Y22DTH - Y25DT
Post by: VXL V6 on 10 March 2013, 17:01:44
Given the Y25DT only existed in euroland hence in a LHD setup... How hard do you reckon this conversion would be on a RHD setup.

Areas to consider in my mind would be:-

Steering box
Brake servo and master cylinder

engine came in bmw in rhd form,so would think it is possible using some parts from the beemer,in fact as they use same engine and box beemer transplant should be the way to go? plenty on ebay, and if your going 2.5 why not go 3 litre?

I guess the engine loom would be available as readily as the engine, I believe the engine looms pretty much plug straight into the body loom?
