The Beemer should be undercutting the van, on the hard shoulder :y

"It's got lots of torque and does 45mpg..." ;D

:-X :-X ::) ::)
Anyway you peasant, a Beemer is a Motorbike, a Bimmer is a car. ::) ::) ;D ;D
Hmmm, just wondering what 'Set Cruise Radar to Operate in Lane 3 only' means on my dash display. ;) ;) ;D ;D
-
Anyone EVER seen a Beemer in lane 1? Ever?
No, it'll never work. ;D
-
I think you've missed the point. The system will be able unleash loads of smoky-chipped-tractor-torque to accelerate to within millimetres of the truck at a truly impressive closing speed, then pull out at random into the middle lane within nanoseconds of collision, displaying neither indication nor consideration towards any traffic that might occupy this lane. Even the most hardened BMW driver can't achieve this level of accuracy, so it's truly an incredible step forwards.
The fact that it requires the BMW to be in the "slow" lane in the first case, and not hogging the outside lane with an ongoing phone call is a detail they haven't picked up on, of course, be these are German engineers we're talking about. they don't do the "big picture". ;D
-
Indeed... ...somebody needs to "flag that up" to them Kev. ;D
-
They did'nt 70 years ago either ;D
-
It appears that the BMW in the first picture IS actually using the indicator!!! :o You have to look carefully though! ;D
The other thing that occurred to me when looking at the 3rd picture of all the gizmos in the boot is where does the LPG tank go? :-\

It'll be the sun glinting off the orange plastic. They don't have bulbs in really.
The other thing that occurred to me when looking at the 3rd picture of all the gizmos in the boot is where does the LPG tank the golf clubs go? :-\
Fixed that for you. ;)

Pre production mule, they'll hide all that away on the customer car. Gota have room for golf clubs.
...although the "ultimate driving machine" won't need anything as cheap and nasty as lpg. "Year on year figures" "vis a ve" the owner fathoming the fill up not quite being "quality driven" ;D
-
::) Chris , you know you want a bimmer.. life is short.. go buy one ;D

Yep.. But one day they'll have the last laugh over us.. They're holding out until someone's figured out how to convert a car to run on bull5h1t and w@nkwords.... ;D
-

No, it'll never work. ;D
That is such an unfair statement. :(
All Bimmers are in lane 1 at some point ..................... albeit very briefly .......... as they exit diagonally straight from lane 3 to the exit road. :y
Being the superior vehicle, we are permitted to do this...... allegedly. ;D ;D
Anyway, how else are we supposed to catch up on the on-board internet daily news/weather, google things, set our de-frost timers, answer calls and make outgoing calls and watch TV, if we are constantly hopping from lane 1 to lane 2 or 3.
It is sooooo much easier to multi-task from lane 3. This eliminates lane hopping and makes travelling on the motorways so much safer. This can't be a bad thing, as so many others follow our good example by following us when we are in our rightful place, lane 3. ;) ;D ;D ;D
::) Chris , you know you want a bimmer.. life is short.. go buy one ;D
Nice to see someone uses the correct terminology Cem. :y ;D

Bimmer? Sounds like a sexual act TB's always shouting about. ;D

Yeah, then we really are in trouble. ;D
Owners will be returning their vehicles world wide. "...it sits in the wrong lane :( ". No that not right is it, hang on <consults w@nkword bingo guide> ...
...er....
...Christ this ain't easy....
...er....
Under "gap analysis" it needs to be more "pro active not reactive" and "fast track" a "win win situation" by "thinking outside the box"
Ooh I feel quite unwell. Must be the smell. ;D

That is such an unfair statement. :(
All Bimmers are in lane 1 at some point ..................... albeit very briefly .......... as they at the last second exit diagonally straight from lane 3, cutting up the vehicles in lanes 2 and 1, to the exit road, all with no indication or forethought for any other road users and steering with their knees where one hand holds the mobile, while the other writes the text. :y
Being the superior vehicle, we are permitted to do this...... allegedly. ;D ;D

There you go I've corrected that for you!

Audi's are the other way round. The driver's seat is known as The Cock, because the 'Tuesday' who owns it, sits on it! :)

Huh humm, may I be so bold as to point out Forum Guidelines to the honourable Mr DTM. ;) ;) ;D ;D
And I quote:
"Members being offensive to bmw drivers will not be tolerated. Offensive or abusive public threads or private messages regarding bmw drivers will be looked in to and appropriate action taken by the Moderators."
And regarding this below:
Bimmer? Sounds like a sexual act TB's always shouting about. ;D
Just for the record, I have a nice photo of a bmw parked outside TB's house. :-X :-X ;D ;D
